INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM - IRAN

An Iranian city is organizing an international sculpture symposium that will take place from 1 to 25 November 2019.
Symposium perspective:
Presentation, internalization and enhancement of the position of the sculptural art of Iran.
Selection
15 artists (5 national and 10 international) will be selected on the basis of the application dossier.
Each artist can present up to three unpublished sculpture proposals.
Each artist must carry a model of the work selected in Scale 1:10. The models will be exhibited in peripheral exhibitions during the period of the Symposium. It will be the responsibility of each artist to carry their own model.
Material:
The organization will supply cubic blocks of travertine (from 2.5 m3 to 3 m3) without considering the pedestal.
Some tools will be supplied (grinders, discs, drill, crane, compressor, ...) and professional assistants.
Honorary
- € 1700 + Reimbursement of travel expenses and travel health insurance up to € 500.
