A Chinese city is organizing an international exhibition of public sculpture from 20 December 2019 to 20 February 2020 at an art gallery.
Organization and collection of works
- · 25 spaces have been selected in the urban area of Jingdezhen for this exhibition and the artists have to create their works based on specific spatial nodes.
- · The event is divided into 5 phases, which are primary selection, secondary selection, exhibition of selected projects, completion on site and awarding for completed works on site.
- · The organizing committee provides registration forms, information on specific urban spaces available, on-site photos, videos, etc. Artists can choose any site from those urban spaces provided by the committee. All creations must be made on the basis of specific spatial circumstances to reflect the unique cultural traditions and current characteristics of Jingdezhen.
- · Candidates are not required to pay any registration or participation fees.
The selection of artists will be organized in two phases, so there will be a primary and a secondary selection. The following information concerns the first phase of the selections. Further information is available at the link below.
Expenses are reimbursed for materials and production of the works, other cash prizes will also be awarded (RMB).
