ARTIST IN RESIDENCE - JAPAN

A Japanese art studio organizes a residence for international artists. The call is open to all international artists. All candidates participate in the selection process, after the result the organizers will invite an artist or a group of artists. The organizers will help participants develop the project, research and production during the residency.
Support for an artist (or group of artists)
The selected artists will receive:
1) A letter of invitation from the city
2) Rental fee for the accommodation (including bed linen and heating costs)
3) Coordination required for research and production
4) Cost of the trip (actual cost of 1 return trip from the country of residence, max. 150,000 JPY)
5) Living expenses (for meals, daily life and research) 300,000 JPY / 60 days
6) Actual cost of presentation costs up to 100,000 JPY.
7) Personal dialogue with the selection committee
8) Organization of translation volunteers, coordination with institutions and organizations.
