Tthe organizing committee of the woods festival invites national and international artists to participate in this event to re-evaluate both the heritage than the materials carrried on the shores by the sea . The event will take place from 31st July to 4th August 2019.
Both individual artists and groups can participate (a maximum of two artists per team) , professionals or non-professionals.
The event brings together artists and families, in a period of 4 days in which the sculptors work outdoors interacting with the public .
Each year , participating artists must be inspired by a song or a story taken from the local heritage. Equipment and coverage from atmospheric events under artists’ responsability.
Size : at least 1 m in height .
The organization provides the wood to create the work , electricity , machinery, and labor. The liability insurance protects the artists for the duration of the event.
Each artist or group of artists (maximum of two artists per team) receives a scholarship of $ 750.00.
Participants are responsible for travel costs , but the costs of accommodation and meals are provided on site by the organization.
