INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM - BOLIVIA

A city of Bolivia in collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts, invites all artists to participate in an International Symposium of Sculpture in Wood, Stone, Metal Scrap and Material Assembly.
Theme:
"TRADITIONS AND COSTUMES OF THE CHICHAS REGION"
Materials:
Piece of recovered wood of approximate dimensions: 2.00 x 0.60 meters.
Scrap pieces recovered from different origins, car workshops, domestic and industrial use.
Stone block of 1.50 x 0.50 x 0.50 meters (referential measurement).
Steel sheets 2 x 1 meters and 2 mm thick.
Working area:
The works will be carried out in a public space in the city, 220-volt power outlets will be provided, as well as the necessary supplies: petrol and oils, electrodes and cutting discs.
- At the end of the event each sculptor will receive a salary from the community of Bs. 2,000.- (TWO THOUSANDS 00/100 BOLIVIANS) equivalent approx. to 300 USD.-, in addition to the recognition diplomas duly signed and supported by the organization.
