INTERNATIONAL WOODCARVING SYMPOSIUM – GERMANY

A German city and other cultural institutions invite all artists to apply for an International Wood Carving Symposium from 25 August to 1 September 2019.

15 artists will be selected by the jury. Selection of the jury: 11 April 2019
Material:
Predominately spruce, maple if possible. 170 - Length 220 cm as untreated trunk, diameter about 50/60 cm. Other types of wood are granted, but must be supplied by the artist. Costs will not be reimbursed.
Tools:
Every artist must use his own tools -
Chainsaws can be supplied on request.
Allowance:
€ 1000.00, plus free room and board and travel expenses.
