ARTIST IN RESIDENCE - ITALY

An Italian Municipality proposes an annual program of residencies for artists, oriented to the enhancement of contemporary art and the support of youth artistic production.
The concept on which the artists are invited to present their applications and work in the period of residence has the title "Transits: traces, maps, paths of contemporary nomadism".
Artists working in the visual arts (painting, sculpture, graphics, street art, photography, video) will participate, without limitation of expressive languages and artistic techniques.
The call for applications expires on January 18, 2019. Participation is free.
The artist's residency will last for three weeks, from 6 to 24 May 2019 and will be selected up to a maximum of six artists, who will be assigned an atelier at the museum headquarters in which to create their own works.
The hospitality of the artists is at the expense of the Municipality, which will offer each artist accommodation and a flat-rate reimbursement of € 1,000.00 for expenses of food and purchase of materials for artistic production.
