INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM FOR SCULPTORS – ARGENTINA

A Symposium of Sculptors will be held in an Argentinian city from 12 to 18 November 2018 inclusive.
Participating sculptors
Seven projects will be selected, including up to three foreigners, to create sculptures in the following materials and quantities:
Two in marble, two in metal, two in wood and one in direct cement.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Organizing Committee will provide the necessary materials for the realization of the works:
- Marble: marble block of 0.80 mx 0.80 mx 1.50 m
- Wood: red eucalyptus trunk diameter 3.50 mx 1 m
- Metal: up to 5 iron sheets of 1 mx 3 mx 3 mm.
- Variegated scrap
- Cement: materials required according to the project for works no less than 0.80 mx 0.80 mx 2.50 m.
- Materials will also be provided for the completion of the works (paints, lacquers, impregnating compounds, etc.).
Compensation
$ 12,000 (twelve thousand Argentine pesos)
For foreign sculptors there will be an extra contribution of 200 USD (in two hundred dollars) for travel expenses.
