INTERACTIVE SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM – ISRAEL

An Interactive Sculpture Symposium will be held in Israel from 1st to 27th september 2018. Artists are requested to submit sketches of sculptures and / or models, for a total sculpture of 2 cubic meters.
The theme of the symposium The symposium is about "Interactive Sculpture". The subject was chosen with the intention of creating a dialogue between the public and the sculptor. A dialogue that crosses existing boundaries (when the viewer sees the sculpture as part of the landscape in the public space), but the public will make "real use" of the sculpture, whether by playing in the sculpture, using additional senses such as hearing and touching, or by seeing and activating thinking - searching for something, The messages planted by the artist, optical illusion, etc.
Total net working days - 19 days .
Stone: Each artist will receive basalt or limestone of 2 cubic meters according to the specifications he presented.
Honorarium:
Paid 14,000 NIS + VAT if applicable. (about 3800 dollars)
