MONUMENTAL SCULPTURE SIMPOSIUM – SPAIN

A marble association organizes a Symposium of Public and Monumental Sculpture from 24 to 29 September 2018 in Spain.
All artists can participate.
-The works will be made by individual artists.
Each artist will have only one piece of stone at his disposal. Therefore, it is allowed to present only one sculpture in the competition.
The theme of the symposium is free.
Economic aid for participants:
- The sculptors who will be selected to participate in this competition will receive an economic aid of 600 euros.
Artists must take into account that this fund includes the following items: idea, design, photographs, job creation and property rights.
The organization will pay food and accommodation to the sculptors during the symposium (from 24 to 30 September). The organizer will provide transport.
The organization provides the artists:
- a piece of stone of 0.50 m3 and no more than 1.5 meters in length.
- a civil liability and a guarantee of accidents.
