SCULPTURE RESIDENCE - USA

Two-months residency in New York for artists focused on sculpture, between February and November 2019. Depending on funding, eighteen to twenty residents are selectively chosen each year with a stipend of USD 1,500 awarded to offset costs. Basic understanding and communication skills in English are necessary.
The main interest is to promote projects that realize and expand examples of creative placemaking to the community. The studio and house are located in West Utica, New York, close to downtown. The collaborative environment of the studio and the communal aspects of the residence help foster dialogue, exchange of ideas, creative experimentation and both personal and professional connections.
