INTERNATIONAL SNOW SCULPTING COMPETITION - JAPAN

A Japanese association organizes an International Snow Sculpting Competition. The event will take place from 6th to 10th February 2018 in Japan.
Theme
・Free of choice
Eligibility
・ Only 10 teams will be accepted to participate. Should more than 10 teams apply, organizers will reserve the right to determine which teams will be accepted.
・ Each team will consist of three sculptors. Excluding student teams, at least two of the three sculptors must be professional and must have competed in a snow sculpting competition/contest.
・ Each team will be provided with snow block, measuring 3m×3m×3m.
・ The sculpture must be made only of snow.
・ Each team will be provided with 3 snow shovels, one snow scoop, one ladder, one set of scaffolds.
・ Sculptors must supply their own tools for carving and finishing.
Prizes
・ First/ Second /Third prize.
・ Artist’s choice prize.
・ Public’s choice prize.
Expenses and accommodation
・ The organizers will provide 4 free nights, but no meals, and Sponsors will award for expenses up to 60,000 yen per competitor.
