INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM – ITALY

An International Sculpture Symposium will take place in an Italian town from 3 to 10 September 2017
Participation
The participation is open to a maximum of five artists. All participants must be of age. The enrollment is open to sculptors of all nationalities, without any age limit, having a diploma or other artistic title or students at art institutes or academies, or artists who have already participated in other competitions, symposia Or sculptures of contemporary sculpture. In the case of students, it will be necessary to make a declaration of attendance by the institution.
The works
The works can be round-the-clock or bas-relief, and will have to be realized by every single participant.
Conduct of the symposium
The duration of the Symposium is set in 7 days, including 3 to 10 September 2017. Selected artists will have to make a work from stone blocks made available by the organizers. It will also be supplied with an electric power plug (220 or 380-KW 6 diurnal) and compressor.
The accommodation and the meals will be offered by the organizers, while the round trip must be organized by the participants themselves and will be responsible for them, as well as daily travel from the venue of the Symposium to the facility in which they will be hosted.
Award ceremony
Artists will receive a € 300 reimbursement fee and a further € 200 prize will be awarded.
