INTERNATIONAL MARBLE SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM - ROMANIA

An International Andezit Sculpture Symposium will take place in Romania between 15 of June and15 of July, 2015. A total of 11 artists will be participating in the symposium. The theme of the symposium is free. The material to be used is Andezit (type of granit). The Organization will provide each artist with a maximum of 3 cubic meters, 2 stone in total. The organisers will provide power and air compressor, grinder 9",2 big diamant discs and 2 small. The Artists will take their own tools.The sculptures produced by the artists in the symposium will be placed in The Sculpture Park of the city . The accommodation and food will be provided by the organizer. Travel expenses for all artists will be covered:200 eu/274usd for each foreign artist from Europe (included Rusia and Turkey), 500 eu/690usd from other countries and local transportations for Romanian artists. Each artist who has completed his work will be given a total of 1500 eu/2.060usd. The Organization will provide tents and beverages in symposium place. The participants can bring visual material of their works to share with the artists and small sculptures, drawings for an exhibition in the city Art Gallery .
