OUTDOOR SCULPTURES EXHIBITION 2015 - CANADA

Open call for an exhibition of original outdoor sculptures displayed year around in Canada.
The sculptures are owned by the sculptors and loaned to the exhibit.
The exhibition is open to professional and amateur sculptors of all backgrounds.
All sculptures and values are welcomed; however, those not willing to accept up to a $15,000.00 purchase price for their sculpture will be excluded from the public voting for the People’s Choice Award.
A stainless steel base plate or steel strips should be securely attached to the bottom of each piece(s) so they can be welded to the pedestal or concrete pad.
All sculptures need to be made of a durable material for the yearlong outdoor setting and constructed with safety in mind for display in a public setting.
All sculptures should be a minimum of 2’ high.
• Artists will be provided 2 nights free accommodation in Castlegar, and will be reimbursed for travel expenses at 50 cents a mile to $500.00 maximum for sculpture delivery.
• Entries will be judged on artistic merit, creativity, public safety, and durability in an outdoors setting.
AWARDS ($25,000 total)
$15,000 sculpture purchase price plus $3000 cash award for The People’s Choice
$1500 cash award for 2nd place
$500 cash award for 3rd place
$3000 cash award for the winner of the Artistic Merit Award (juried)
$1500 for 2nd place
$500 for 3rd place
