PRIZE FOR CONTEMPORARY ART - ITALY

Open call for an art award aimed at the promotion of contemporary art and artists, and at enhancing the relationship between art and business. Open to all artists, Italian and foreigners, who work steadily on the Italian territory.
- Theme "THE ART LOOKS AHEAD"
The works and categories The relevance to the theme of the Prize, quality, research and innovation are the key criteria for the selection of Artworks. The Artist may submit works of new construction or created within the twelve months prior to the Commencement Date of the Terna Prize 06 provided they have won or are found to be finalists for other awards or competitions. You will be able to enroll in one of the following categories: - Digital photography and traditional light-box are also allowed crossover between painting and techniques, both mechanical and digital, from photography to the multiple digital manipulation. Are also allowed video still, Polaroid, and all the images that have a two-dimensional purposes. Maximum size: 3 meters x 3 meters. -Video A maximum duration of 10 min and a maximum weight of 30 MB, in the formats wmv, mpeg, mp4, avi, mov, flv. - Painting: With any technique in any medium, of maximum size 3 meters x 3 meters. - Sculpture and Installation: Sculpture with any technique in any medium, maximum size of 3 meters x 3 meters; Installs as a synthesis of languages and different means of expression, from the most traditional to the most technologically advanced, including raw materials or handled, mechanical or electrical, video, music or sound components, computerized images, used individually or in combination. The size of installation can vary in relation to the spaces chosen and the technologies used. Normally, the installation must therefore be easily revived or re-assembled in different exhibition spaces (within an area of 5 meters x 5 meters in height according to location), including possible adjustments provided are not thereby altered the relationships between the various parties and the general sense of the work.
Awards The works selected as winners (first, second and third place for each of the three categories) will be awarded the following prizes: • First Place An Artist Residency • Second Prize A prize purchase of € 3,000 • Third Prize A prize purchase of € 2,000
