CONTEST OF SCULPTURE – ITALY

An Italian Cultural Foundation announces a contest of sculpture, from 18th July to 25th August 2014. The competition is open to all national and international sculptors over 18 years. The aim is to promote contemporary art as a means of communication and chosen instrument to transmit fashion, styles and languages of our time.
A prerequisite is the search for an authentic art that does not deceive the intelligence through the senses, but, on the contrary, an art that incentives the feeling. The theme is free . The project must be unpublished. Projects based on disability, disadvantage and diversity, suitable for blind people (tactile reading) will be particularly appreciated and will receive more consideration in the selection.
20 artists will be selected by the jury and will be notified by May 30, 2014 .
There is no tuition fee, but the following elements are under the responsibility of the participants :
- Costs of the required documents for registration ( in the case of paperwork )
- Costs of comp (required elaborate 20 selected )
- Costs of the works of the 3 winners
The 3 winners will receive :
- 1st prize : € 1,000
- 2nd prize: € 500
- 3rd prize: € 500
