ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE PROGRAM - ITALY

Open call for a residence project in Italy from 4th May to 8th June 2014. The Municipality will cover the cost for an Artist Residency Program, open to visual artists of any nationality based in Europe. The participation of artists inspired by the local culture and geography, and its surroundings, is particularly encouraged. Good communication skill in English required.
A return ticket, board and lodging, a small budget for the cost of materials (500 Euros), along with studio space will be offered to the artist selected.
During the residency, the artist will be asked to open his/her atelier once a week in order to share the result of his/her artistic work with the local community. At the end of the program, the artist will have the opportunity to exhibit his/her work and give a talk about his/her stay.
