ART BIENNIAL – SPAIN

Two Spanish municipalities organize an art biennial in order to promote arts and stimulate creativity, with an innovative award-honorarium, in collaboration with a Spanish University.
The contest is open to all national and international artists. Each artist can present a painting or sculpture work. Paintings must be 82x200 cm framed and ready to be hanged, and signed on the back. Theme and technic for the realization are free.
Sculpture art works must be at least 75 cm in any of its side and 2m maximum. Maximum weight 75 kg. Theme and technic for the realization are free. All the works must be signed and be unique and original. They mustn’t have participated to previous art events.
Selected artists will be notified within 3rd May 2014, last date for the submission of the work and its photo. Between the selected works, four will be awarded. Prizes and honorarium, of a general amount of 12.000 €, will be communicated at the closing ceremony.
Packaging and carriage expenses will be supported by the artist. All the works must be packaged and safe for transportation.
