SCULPTURE INTERNATIONAL CONTEST –POLAND-

A Polish foundation organizes a for the realisation of one spatial form and three artistic installations, inspired by the wide concept of freedom, which will be located in the public space of the town.
The contest is open to any professional artists sculptors, architects and students of sculpture and architecture departments of higher art schools in Poland and abroad. The competition focuses on the realization of durable (at least 4 months) and non durable installations:
-Durable spatial forms should be at least 4 meters high and resist water and weather conditions (sun, rain, wind) for at least 4 months.;
-Nondurable artistic installations should resist water and weather conditions for at least one week.
The form shall be realised in May to August 2014.

Food and Accommodation will be provided by the organization. The organization may cover transportation costs.

AWARDS
-3 awards for the best durable spatial forms: 1st place 5000 PLN (about 1180 EUR), 2nd and 3rd place 2000 PLN (about 470 EUR) each, a statuette and diploma.
-3 awards for the best nondurable artistic installations: 1st place 2000 PLN (about 470 EUR), a statuette and diploma, 2nd and 3rd place: a statuette and diploma.

Audience awards
- All realised durable spatial forms and nondurable installations will take part in internet-based public contest.
-The author of the most popular durable spatial form or nondurable installation, shall receive the Audience Award, this is about 2000 PLN (about 470 EUR).
