INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM IN THE NATURE – BELGIUM

A cultural association organizes an International Symposium in the nature, in partnership with a city of Belgium. The event will take place form 18th to 24th of August 2014 in the forest of the city.
30 Artists will be selected, and they will choose between tree trunk carving (10 people) and installation, to work in a forest for seven days. The competition is open to all artists, without distinction of nationality, age or profession.
Accommodation
3 meals a day will be provided by the organization for artists selected during the symposium. Any accompanying person will have to pay for their meals, which will be available at low prices. A camping site will be at the artists’ disposal, but they will have to bring their own tents and sleeping bags. Bathrooms will be available.
3 prizes, each of 1.250 EUR
-Prize awarded by artist and organizer’s votes.
