SYMPOSIUM AND ART DESIGN EXHIBITION - GERMANY

The events will take place in Germany from the 5th to 13th April 2014., and it will concern a sculpture-design exhibition and a symposium sharing the theme : Fantastic Art Design.
The exhibition:
Artists must present a work with the following features: the object must be a useful thing, like a chair, a table, a lamp, a closet, or whatever of ordinary usage; it must be a sculpture; it must have a "fantastic" appearance (like a furniture for a science fiction movie) or a gothic style; it must be in compliance with the safety standards.
Artist can present more than one proposal.
Participants for the exhibition have to bring their works on 4th April 2014.
The symposium:
Six artist will be invited to perform exactly the same contents as described above. In case the work needs more than a week to be finished, the artist must prepare it beforehand, in order to be able to finish the sculpture during the 9-day fair.
Invited artists will be refund of all the expenses (travel, food, hotel) and will receive 1000 EUR.
At the end of the fair the artist can sell his/her work.
In order to be selected the works must present the following characteristics :unusual materials; combination of several different materials, "craziness" of the object.
