PRIZE FOR CONTEMPORARY ART - ITALY

An Italian Foundation announces the second Prize for contemporary art, to valorize the emergent young authors and the photo, to offer visibility to the contemporary authors that works out to the innovative search.
The competition is open to all contemporary artists of any nationality, with no restriction of theme.
It is possible to participate in both sections, or to enter multiple works in each section.
EMERGING ART SECTION This section is dedicated to contemporary artists aged 35 or under at the time of the competition deadline. Applicants can submit works from any field of visual art: painting, drawing, graphic art, sculpture, installation, video art, performance and photography, with no restrictions regarding to their chosen artistic language. Two-dimensional works should not measure more than 150×150 cm, three-dimensional works shouldn’t be larger than 150 x 150 x 150 cm. The works will be judged by the jury for their quality and contemporary nature.
CONTEMPORARY PHOTOGRAPHY SECTION This section is open to photographers of any nationality with no age restriction. The works should not measure more than 150×150 cm. The works will be judged by the jury for their quality and contemporary nature.
Prizes The winners will be awarded: 5,000/6,525 USD eu for each section
The two art works which win the competition will become property of the Foundation
– Application fee There is an application fee of 40eu/52usd eu for each work submitted to the competition.
The shortlisted works will be exhibited at Villa Brandolini in Pieve di Soligo from the 30th November to the 22nd December 2013
