OPEN CALL FOR SCULPTURE PROPOSALS – U.S.A.

An Art Gallery supports a program to artists in creating new work for presentation at Gallery. The organizer is currently inviting artists to submit proposals for new projects to be presented during the 2014 season. Artists selected for the program will receive a 250usd honoraria and up to 1500usd in production support. The level of production support will depend on the scope of accepted works and available funding.
Building images and floorplans may be viewed and downloaded on the website, as well as previous works presented at Gallery. There are no geographic eligibility requirements, however it should be noted that the budget does not provide for travel or accommodation costs.
The Gallery seeks proposals that offer new ways of considering sculpture or further the understanding of the discipline and how it can intersect with other mediums. Proposals will be reviewed relative to the following criteria:
- Quality of the proposal and prior work
- Responsiveness to the specific context
- Feasibility of the project
Submitting artists will be notified by email by September 30, 2013.
