INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM OF SCULPTURE - ARGENTINA

A Cultural Fundación Cultural organizes the II International Symposium of Sculpture. The Symposium will take place in a City of the north of the Republic of Argentina.
Mrs Lelé Trabb, (Sculptress and President for the AIESM of Argentina), will be technical advisor
The jury will consists of representatives of the two National University of Córdoba, of the National University of Tucumán, and of the School of Architects of the City
The symposium will be carried out in September from the 9 to the 23 of 2013.
The organizers will select 10 sculptors between national artists and foreigners.
The topic of the work is free.
The available materials to work are:
Marble of until 1,5 m3 or3 plates of steel stainless of 3 x 1,5 mt x 2 mm.
The organizers will provide to each sculptor:
A working area of approximately 3 x 3 mt
Electric 220 Volts.
Air compressor
The sculptors must to bring own personal tools.
The metal-sculptors will have an assistant.
The organizers won't pay ticket for travel
The artist will have own personal healt insurance.
National artists: 20.000 ARS
Artists of the American continent: 24.000 ARS
Artists overseas of the American continent: 28.000 ARS
The organizers will be provide accommodation an food for the sculptors during the Symposium.
The additional expenses as telephone, bar, accommodation and food for the companion will be in charge of the sculptor.
The organizers have foreseen to donate 6 of the artworks realized during the Symposium to the Government of the County for their public exhibition, being this way, included inside the world movement of Public Art.
The organizers will publish bilingual catalogs with the sculptor's pictures and their work.
