CALL FOR PEACE ART – UK

An award to the art that makes a direct positive change in countries that have experienced social upheaval and violent conflict. The Award was created in 2012 by International Conflict and Security (INCAS) Consulting Ltd. The ten most inspiring submissions to this year’s Award will be invited to join the Award Network. These projects and their initiators are promoted to peace-builders, curators and other art world professionals.
ELIGIBILITY Artists of any nationality and age working in or on conflict or post-conflict countries, regions or communities and that address issues of war, violent conflict and social upheaval. Projects, initiative, artwork using any medium are considered. Applicants may apply alone, in group, or with a CSO/NGO. Projects, initiatives, or artworks submitted can be at a start up phase, ongoing or completed at the time of the prize deadline.
The judges’ shortlist will be sent by email to each applicant by 30 July. The ten shortlisted creative projects, initiatives, artwork will be published on the website at the same time.
