2 INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM- TURKEY

2. International Sculpture Workshop will take place from September 2 until October 2, 2013 in a City of Turkey. A total of 10 artists -3 Local and 7 International- will participate in the International Sculpture Workshop. The medium of the sculpture will be “Marble”. The theme of the Workshop is “Happiness”.
The Municipality will provide each artist marble blocks not to exceed 3,5 m3 in total.
The artist may use different materials in addition to marble; however the technical solution and the expenses are under the responsibility of the sculpture.
Equipment
The artist will be provided with 220V of electricity, cable systems, pressure water and a compressor with necessary hoses and shading.
The artists will provide their own electrical and small appliances together with their consumable materials.
The works will be realized in outdoor. The artists must be prepared for seasonal weather conditions.
Accommodation- Food
The expenses of transportation and accommodation together with breakfast, lunch and dinner of the artists who attend the Workshop will be covered by the Municipality.
Transportation includes round trip economy class flight tickets and airport transfer.
The honorarium for each artist is 5000eu (6,580usd)
