THE WOOD SCULPTOR’S SYMPOSIUM - ROMANIA

Cosmin Hiristea (AIESM Agent in Romania) in collaboration with the “KINGS LAND”, the Municipality of the city is organizing the Third International Transylvania Wood Sculptor’s Symposium that will be held in Transylvania from 27th May – 2nd June 2013.
- Participants
Professional Sculptors, Woodcarvers and wood enthusiasts including up-and coming young artists and emerging students in Fine Arts. There is no restriction on age or country of origin.
The theme is Dynamic Harmony. The artwork should be made mainly of hard oak wood. The extra materials have to be brought by the sculptors.

-Work material
The hard oak wood will be provided by the organizer. The wood is cut at 4-5 m length and it has a 40-60 cm diameter.
Wood and places of work will be assigned by extraction.

The organizer will supply to the artists:
Electricity-supply.
Wood barracks with working table, benches
Oil and petrol for chainsaw
Lifting facilities

- Accommodation
The organizers provide free accommodation in single rooms fisherman's cottage around the lake of Kings Land Complex. Full board and lodging will be provided by the organizers.

- Honorarium
An honorarium of 500eu will be paid to each participant.

-Travel expenses
The Organisers reimbursed the travel up to the sum of 300eu. Artists from overseas may get 500
